Shall I start this post as “this is not an ad?” Seems like that’s the only way bloggers are gaining trust for their reviews and recommendations. As much as I’d like to say I get paid for my posts, I don’t. Rest assured my recommendations are legit, these dry shampoos will tackle that post boot camp hair funk! Xx, Sas
If you have a few more coins to play with, I highly suggest the amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, $22. I purchased it during The Makeup Show in NY last weekend. So far, loving it. The scent is very subtle, eliminated all the moisture in my hair, didn’t create too much volume. At times the volume created from dry shampoos can be over the top.
During NYFW, I was given a sample bottle of TRESemme’s Dry Shampoo which I finished by week’s end freshening up in between shows. It smells amazing, a bit sticky but will get the job done. It’s available in almost every drugstore and it’s budget friendly ($5.49).
Overuse of dry shampoo can lead to residue buildup. Be mindful when using consecutively, I wouldn’t recommend using for more than 2 days. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hair after use, get in there with your nails and really scrape off the product from the scalp. You may have to repeat twice.Otherwise, you’ll end up with dandruff like issues. Also, using dark tone shampoos can ruin clothes and sheets. Enjoy and stay dry! Xx, Sas
